Job Description:
- Working closely with the Senior Video Technicians, Project Managers, and Service team, to ensure that high-quality installations are carried out within the specified timeframe and guidelines.
- Providing feedback to the team regarding specific installation and client issues on-site
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance to existing installations as required.
- Manual handling tasks will be required when necessary for moving equipment.
- Structured cabling which includes pulling, terminating, and testing all cables and wiring associated with audio/video cables.
- Conduct terminations in accordance with system diagrams.
- Maintain all rental equipment to a high standard and ensure all assets are kept fit for purpose.
- Undertake preventative maintenance and PAT testing.
- Submit reports to Operations and Technical HODs for lost or damaged equipment.
- Carry out stock take when required.
- Follow de-prep guides to ensure equipment is maintained to company standards.
- Equipment is prepped in a timely manner to the highest possible standard.
- Carry out the equipment preparation.
- Ensure no equipment is missed in the preparation procedure.
- Ensure no defective equipment is sent to the site.
- Supervise and/or load and unload trucks in a safe manner.
- Ensure equipment is accurately tested on its return to the warehouse.
- Ensure any equipment found to be faulty is reported to maintenance immediately.
- Be able to work unsupervised.
- Handle small events including setup, video playbacks, video switching, and presentations.
- Display professionalism in time of duty
- Observe the health and safety of yourself and people around the workplace
- Display willingness to improve your knowledge in areas of video discipline and other aspects
- Always follow company and operational policies.
- Work as directed by the line manager/HOD
- Fulfill other duties as required.
